Katherine McPhee of American Idol fame has signed a record deal with music mogul Clive Davis in conjunction with 19 Recordings Unlimited, the label managed by “Idol” creator Simon Fuller.  Simon Fuller is quoted as saying “She has tons of talent and we can’t wait to get her into the studio”.

Katherine proved herself quite versatile in the weeks heading to her showdown with Idol winner Taylor Hicks.  She obviously has great talent and many music industry insiders claim she is likely to have a more successful career then Taylor himself.
